Travel bug; wanderlust gene; whatever you want to call it, I got it. I want to see the world and everything it has to offer.
Certainly, travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living.
The best thing about traveling is being able to call a new place home; the people I meet impact me in a way they will never understand and I learn more about myself everyday. Seeing how others live has shown me how I want to live a more fulfilling life. It’s the simple ‘thank you’ to the store clerk or asking the person sitting next to you ‘how are you?’ These connections and relationships are what make experiences memorable. I will never be wealthy rich, but I know I have rich memories of treasured friends and exciting adventures.
The world is too big to stay in one place.
As graduation approached, I feared that I would be telling family and friends that I was still looking for jobs and moving back in with mom & dad. I woke up one day, checked my email, and my life has forever been changed. I moved to Torrijos, Toledo, Spain to teach English in a Catholic high school and that’s just the beginning…
Let me show you the world.
